Group3 A team of ICT experts comprising of Elisha, Josephine,John, Sandra, Richard, and Petro from Uganda and Tanzania take this opportunity to welcome you to share their views about the Web 2.0 Tools. These tools include skype,wiki, Writely, Blogs and RSS.

The Assignment

Group3 was mandated to evaluate the tools discussed in the workshop in order to determine which tool would be best in what situation. We have been exposed to these new tools and have had time to evaluate their usability in our context, focusing mainly on their role in enabling effective communication, knowledge sharing and collaboration with partners both up-country and overseas.

The Approach

We had a brainstorming session in which we all shared ideas about each of these tools focusing on their usability in different situations, and these were captured in a tabular format. We then decided that a Wiki would best illustrate our feedback, and would even allow members to comment and edit where appropriate.
